Manhattan Fish Shop, Seremban 2

I was at the Manhattan Fish Shop last Friday. Well, the food was just ok. Nothing interesting at all. We ordered a Salmon Chowder, but then I asked the waitress If the soup is fishy or not ( not fresh salmon is going to produce fishy odor). The soup came and it was very fishy, it was not a chowder, but a cream soup thicken with corn starch. It was really disgusting. We asked the waitress to change the soup to a mushroom soup. It came out to be the same. The mushroom soup also was not too rich. They were not using cream to enrich the soup, but merely using cornstarch, because the taste was not there. Anyway, we ordered a salad, overall is okay, but then the crouton that came with the salad was too tiny. For the main course we ordered a mix-grilled seafood with rice and French fries served with cream sauce. There were calamari, fish, mussel and shrimp. The price for this dish was between RM40 to RM 50, which was very costly, but the shrimp/prawn was too little for the price. I had difficulty to remove the shell of the shrimp because it was sticking to the flesh. Anyway, I was not happy at all with the food. Next time, think twice if you want to dine in this restaurant. Luckily, the service was good. Its really hard to find good food these days.
